Addressing Mistreatment of Innocent Immigrants at US Ports of Entry

Strategic Steps Towards Change: To tackle this issue head-on, NASAA has outlined a strategic action plan

While the current legal landscape may limit the intervention of US Courts in CBP actions, the United States has a storied history of championing human rights within and beyond its jurisdiction. NASAA is dedicated to presenting accurate, compelling information to ensure this issue receives the fair consideration it warrants.

Raising Widespread Awareness

NASAA is committed to collaborating closely with Congress members, Senators, and relevant committees. The aim is to secure access to transcriptions of CBP investigations, thereby assembling a comprehensive repository of evidence outlining instances of human rights violations.

Collaboration with Congress

Through the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA), NASAA will initiate requests to acquire essential information from relevant authorities. This information will provide insight into the extent of human rights violations and pinpoint areas demanding immediate reform.

Leveraging FOIA Requests

NASAA will create a dedicated Grievance Cell to meticulously gather data from individuals who have fallen victim to mistreatment at US Ports of Entry. This data collection is vital evidence substantiating the need for transformative change.

Establishment of a Grievance Cell

NASAA, or the North America Seem Andhra Association, has dedicated a generous pledge of $250,000. This financial commitment will be instrumental in crafting an all-encompassing campaign that not only collects vital information but also raises awareness and champions the case before Congress. This pledge reflects NASAA's unwavering dedication to promoting social justice and safeguarding human rights.

A Pledge for Transformation

In conclusion, NASAA firmly believes that no innocent immigrant should endure mistreatment or human rights violations while seeking refuge and opportunity in the United States. With collaborative endeavours, impactful awareness initiatives, and an unswerving commitment to driving change, we strive to make a meaningful difference in the lives of these individuals.
